Fort Worth Benefits is a free community guide — not a government agency. We are not part of, endorsed by, or affiliated with the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, JPS Health Network, or any other program, office, or organization listed on this site.
What the information here means
- “May qualify” means may. The checker and the guides match your answers against published program rules. Only the program itself can decide whether you qualify and whether you’re approved. Nothing on this site is a promise or guarantee of benefits, amounts, or approval.
- Details change. Program rules, income limits, dollar amounts, phone numbers, addresses, and availability change — and some programs run out of funds. We check every fact against its official source before publishing, but always confirm the details with the program before you apply or travel.
- Estimates are estimates. Dollar figures shown are published program maximums or examples for the current program year, not a calculation of what you personally will receive.
- We don’t submit applications. Our Apply for Me service builds you a personal step-by-step guide. You apply to each program yourself, and no one at Fort Worth Benefits can speed up, influence, or appeal a program’s decision on your behalf.
