Fort Worth Benefits (fortworthbenefits.com) is a free community guide. This page explains, in plain words, what information we collect, why, and what we never do with it. Questions: support@fortworthbenefits.com.
What we collect
- The eligibility checker — Your answers (ZIP, household size, income range, situations, top need) are used to show your results. We keep an anonymous tally of checker use — ZIP area, household size, income range, and which programs matched — with no email address and no IP address attached, so we can tell which programs Fort Worth needs most.
- Apply for Me — The form asks for your name, contact details, address, date of birth, household details, and your situation. We use those answers for one thing: building your personal guide and emailing it to you.
- The weekly email — If you sign up — on the homepage form, the checker’s consent box, or the Apply for Me opt-in box — we keep your email address in our Fort Worth Benefits email publication so we can send the weekly email. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works.
- Basic site logs — Like most websites, our host keeps standard technical logs (pages visited, browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
What we never do
- We never sell your information. Not your email, not your form answers, not anything.
- We never share your Apply for Me answers with the programs we list. You apply to them yourself, with your own information, when you’re ready.
- We never use your information to decide anything about you — we are not a benefits agency and we make no eligibility decisions.
Cookies
We use only the basic cookies the site needs to work. We don’t run advertising trackers for other companies.
Keeping and deleting your information
Apply for Me submissions are kept only as long as needed to build and send your guide and handle follow-up questions about it. To ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, email support@fortworthbenefits.com and we’ll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
