What to bring
Texas asks voters to show an accepted photo ID — a driver license, state ID, U.S. passport, military ID, handgun license, citizenship certificate with photo, or an Election ID Certificate.
No photo ID? You can still vote. Ask for a Reasonable Impediment Declaration and show a supporting document such as a utility bill, bank statement, government check, or your voter registration certificate.
One deadline has already passed: mail-ballot applications were due Friday, October 23. If you planned to vote by mail and did not apply, in-person early voting is your route — and the hours above include evenings all next week.
